Dogecoin (DOGE) encountered resistance, and the rebound momentum showed signs of weakening  Dogecoin has started to rebound against the US dollar after breaking above the $0.1420 area. Currently, Dogecoin is facing resistance near $0.1540 and may find it difficult to continue rising.
Dogecoin price faces challengesDogecoin price rebounded from the $0.1330 area as Bitcoin and Dogecoin Ethereum (DOGE) broke the $0.1320 and $0.140 resistance levels. The price witnessed a decent advance after breaking above the 50% Fibonacci retracement level of the declining move from the $0.1593 high to $0.1330 low. However, bears appear to be active near $0.1530 and $0.1540. Furthermore, a descending trend line with resistance at $0.1530 is forming on the hourly chart of DOGE/USD. Dogecoin price is currently trading above $0.150 and above the 100 hourly simple moving average. If a rebound occurs, immediate resistance above is near $0.1530. The first major resistance for bulls is likely to be near $0.1540, which is also a trendline and the 76.4% Fibonacci retracement level of the decline from the $0.1593 high to $0.1330 low.  The next major resistance is near $0.1590. If there is a close above the $0.1590 resistance, the price may rise further towards the $0.1650 resistance. If the price continues to rise, a further move towards $0.1720 is possible. The next major stop for the bulls is likely to be $0.180. Dogecoin Price Drops Again?If the price of Dogecoin (DOGE) fails to break above the $0.1540 mark, the decline is likely to continue. Initial support is near $0.1460. The next major support is near $0.1420. The main support is at $0.1330. If the price breaks below the $0.1330 support, further losses are likely. In this case, the price could drop to $0.120 or even $0.1120 in the short term.
