 XRP price started a new round of gains after breaking through the $3.050 resistance level. The price is currently correcting and may find buying near $3.020.

The bulls even pushed the price above $3.120. The price formed a high at $3.138 and is currently retracing some of its gains. The price briefly fell below $3.10. The price tested the 50% Fibonacci retracement level of the upward move from the $2.9830 swing low to $3.138 high. The price is currently trading above $3.050 and the 100 hourly simple moving average. Additionally, a bullish trend line is forming with support at $3.040 on the hourly chart of the XRP/USD pair.  If the bulls hold the support at $3.050, the price may try to rise again. On the upside, the price may face resistance near $3.10. The first major resistance level is near $3.120. If the price clearly breaks above the $3.120 resistance, it could push towards the $3.20 resistance. If the price rises further, it may push towards the resistance at $3.2320. The next major resistance level for the bulls is likely to be near $3.250. More disadvantages?If XRP fails to break above the $3.10 resistance, the decline is likely to continue. On the downside, initial support is near $3.050 or the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level of the upward move from the $2.9830 low to $3.138 high. The next major support is near $3.020. If there is a downside breakout and a close below $3.020, the price could continue its decline to $2.980. The next major support is near $2.9150, below which the price is likely to gain bearish momentum.
