 Solana begins a new leg higher above $200. SOL price is currently consolidating above $200 and is expected to break above the $208 area.
Solana price breaks $200 againSolana price started rising sharply after settling above the $180 area, as Bitcoin and Ethereum Same. SOL climbed above $188, entering short-term bullish territory. The price even broke the $198 resistance. The bulls managed to push the price above $200. Currently, the price is consolidating gains above the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level of the recent uptrend from the $177 low to $204 high. Solana is currently trading above $200 and the 100 hourly simple moving average. Additionally, there is a bullish trend line forming with support at $198 on the hourly chart of the SOL/USD pair.  On the upside, the price faces resistance near $205. The next major resistance is near $208. Major resistance is likely to be at $212. A successful close above the $212 resistance could set the stage for the next round of solid gains. The next key resistance is at $225. If the price rises further, a drop towards $232 is possible. SOL pullback again?If SOL fails to break above the $205 resistance, it could start a new decline. On the downside, initial support is near the $198 area and trendline. First major support is near $192 and the 50% Fibonacci retracement level of the recent upward move from the $177 low to $204 high. A break below the $192 level could push the price toward the $184 support zone. If the price closes below the $184 support, the price may fall towards the $180 support in the near term. Technical indicators Hourly MACD – The MACD for SOL/USD is accelerating within the bullish zone. Hourly RSI (Relative Strength Index) – The RSI for SOL/USD is above the 50 level.
