Bitcoin’s recent liquidity surge has sparked volatility across the market as Ethereum shows potential recovery. While BTC struggles to stabilize after clearing key liquidity levels, Ethereum is trying to recapture key resistance levels, setting the stage for the cryptocurrency market’s next big directional move.

Markets remain weak after $116,000 liquidity drain

In his latest BTC 1H current chart update shared on X, Can Özsüer highlighted that Bitcoin’s hourly chart shows few bullish signs at the moment. He pointed out that market sentiment has weakened, especially after the liquidation area cleared after breaking through $116,000, which further dampened the outlook for the entire crypto market.

Özsüer said the overall pattern remains fragile and that it could be risky to enter into scalping long trades in this situation until more clarity emerges. Reversal structures begin to form. Özsüer sees the $111,000 level as a potential area for initial pullback buying and hints that some short-term support may emerge around that level. However, he warned that if this level fails to hold, Bitcoin could experience a sharper decline towards trendline support near $109,000.

He further suggested that traders should carefully strategize and focus on the area within what he calls “Box 1.” This area can provide a technical framework for identifying potential entry points and effectively managing risks.

Ultimately, Özsüer noted that the cleanest and safest approach is to adjust your trading plan around optimal price levels while ensuring that positions maintain protective structures above defined support levels.

Bullish momentum will increase if support at $4,200 is regained

Although Bitcoin faces potential losses, crypto analyst Ted Pillows reveals that ETH is currently in the critical stage of regaining resistance at $4,200. The success of this technical battle is crucial as it will determine the direction of Bitcoin in the coming days.

Ted Pillows outlines conditions for continued rally； If Ethereum can decisively reclaim and hold $4,200 levels, traders should “expect the bullish momentum to continue longer.” A break above this resistance could signal a clear path for Ethereum to move towards its next higher price target.

Conversely, if ETH fails to hold the $4,200 area, the price may fall back. Analysts predict that this failure will trigger a necessary retest of the $4,000 level before the market attempts further gains, suggesting that $4,000 is a key line of defense against further losses.
